…now what?
What do you want your visitor to do?
- Telephone you?
- Email you?
- Buy something?
- Make a booking?
What if they don’t want to do that today but might at some future date, are you sure they will find you again?
Seems a shame to lose them after working so hard to get them to the site!
What if you asked them for their email address in exchange for a coupon or something free and of value to them the first time they find you?
That way you can send them a weekly e-mail newsletter, or special offer, to keep your business at the forefront of their minds for when they DO decide to take action.
Or exchange a coupon for them ‘liking‘ your Facebook or Google+ Business Pages – you can then send them messages in Facebook or Google whenever you want.
Is Wednesday a slow day in your restaurant/hair salon/enter your business type here (!) – email your list of leads a discount code redeemable this Wednesday! How about texting them?
Why not? How about you ask for their Mobile Number in exchange for something cool? Then send them offers via SMS Text whenever you want!
You don’t have to be a massive company to use this form of marketing. Think of the possibilities!
